### DirectAdmin Legacy
Customers with an existing DirectAdmin license have been assigned to DirectAdmin Legacy.
This configuration remains fully supported and can continue to be used, with the following characteristics:
- MariaDB 10.6 LTS
- Unlimited accounts and domains
- Enterprise support for MariaDB until August 23, 2029
- No upgrade possible to MariaDB versions higher than 10.6
For many environments, MariaDB 10.6 remains stable and more than sufficient. You are free to continue using this configuration as long as it meets your requirements.

### Upgrade to newer MariaDB versions (with Pro Pack)
If you wish to use newer MariaDB versions (11.4 or higher), an upgrade of your DirectAdmin license is required.
An upgrade option is available in the client area to:
- DirectAdmin Lite + Pro Pack (max. 10 accounts / 50 domains)
- DirectAdmin Standard + Pro Pack (unlimited accounts & domains)
These modern licenses include the DirectAdmin Pro Pack, which provides additional features such as:
- Advanced backup and restore functionality
- Enhanced security and system features
- Extended tooling for professional and production environments
- Support for modern software stacks and future updates
